Stephen Chiunjira is an entrepreneur. He is the founder and Executive Director of Our World International (www.owimalawi.org), a waste management nonprofit organization. He is also a motivational speaker and author of You Have What It Takes book (www.stephenchiunjira.com) published in the United Kingdom.

He spoke at TED Talk on Recycling as a Business and has featured twice on Lilongwe Pitch Night. In 2016, he won Total Malawi’s First Edition of Startupper of the Year Award as a Young Entrepreneur. In 2017, Stephen was one of 1, 000 young Africans selected in the Mandela Washington Fellowship Program in the United States of America. In 2019, Stephen was one of the winners of Tony Elumelu Foundation – Entrepreneurship Program, Nigeria.
